Our Team

Our leadership: Luz Gallegos, Executive Director. For Luz, TODEC is a family affair. She grew up within the embrace of the TODEC community- an organization her parents started when her family first moved to the Inland Empire. For many years she served as the Community Program Director of TODEC before stepping into the Executive Director role in 2020. Outside of work, she loves to sing and lives in the community with her husband, children, and dogs.

TODEC is filled with passionate, dedicated people who come from the communities we serve. Many of our staff began as members or volunteers with TODEC before joining the team. Others are community members who returned to the Inland Empire after their education to give back to the community that shaped who they are today. We are organizers, lawyers, teachers, doctors, and advocates united by our pride and love for our people and a vision for a healthy, thriving, just region for all.
